Life is better when you have an sMi account of your very own.  With your account, you’ll be able to join the message board conversation, post photos and videos, share replays, type self-indulgent blog posts, and more.  For those of you who want to play StarCraft, you can apply to become a member of sMi after your account has been created.  If you’re more interested in slumming around the forums, you can ignore that part and just join as a guest.  Alright, that’s all the help you get.

your sMi Username:  Your username will be your special ID on sMiteam.net.  Choose something unique that you won't hate in four days - each sMi username must be different from the rest.  Do not include the 'sMi' tag in your username!

E-mail Address:  Enter a real address because if you don't, you won't get your activation e-mail and we won't be able to create your account.  Fret not - we won't spam you.

Your Actual Name:  The one that you keep hidden from your StarCraft friends.  Don't worry, we won't publish your full name on our site so your friends and coworkers won't know what a giant nerd you are.

Your Location:  Let us know where you are.  If you don't, you won't have one of those cool flags show up by your name and you'll end up looking like a jerk.  Also, your registration won't go through.

Birth Date:  We tend to swear an awful lot on our private boards and we aren't in the business of exploiting the innocent children.  Confirm your age to be some number greater than 13 and we'll assume you're telling the truth.  Liar.
